Meet the Maker

Hi, I'm Estelle, the maker behind StellaMoonCraft.

I've always been drawn to creativity, colour and making things with my hands. After exploring knitting, I discovered crochet in 2014 and haven't stopped since!

Long before StellaMoonCraft began, I travelled around India in 2010 and completely fell in love with the vibrant colours, beautiful textiles and incredible craftsmanship. That trip has stayed with me ever since and continues to inspire my collections today, including the Jaipur Tote Collection.

I was also lucky enough to grow up by the seaside, so it's probably no surprise that shells became the inspiration behind my signature crochet bags. They're my favourite thing to make, and if there's a festival, holiday or dance floor involved, you'll almost always find me with one over my shoulder.

Between life as a full-time primary school teacher and mum to my two little Moons, you'll usually find me crocheting whenever I can. When my children were babies, I also taught myself hand embroidery, something I still love using to personalise keepsakes for little ones.I'm a self-confessed magpie too. I can't resist sparkle, colour, beautiful fabrics or anything a little bit different! Let's ditch the grey and celebrate the rainbow!
